I am Hannah, a recent graduate from London College of Fashion having studied Costume for Performance. I chose costume as a career as I have always been creative, with a natural curiosity for the world around me and a vivid imagination. I have always known I would go into the arts, and with costume combining my interests in sewing and art, it seemed a natural choice. To me, costume is an incredible art form using the body as a 3D canvas, pushing the limitations of how it can be moulded and represented.
When designing, I am constantly thinking about how the costume would come together, trying to push myself out of my comfort zone to ensure I learn from every piece I create. I aspire to work in film. It is a fast-paced environment providing constant learning experiences. I am a problem solver. I like to think on my feet and feel that the environment around me is pushing me to do my best. I do well under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team.
